This time the nyger attracted two of the three species I was aiming for, Goldfinch and the newbie, Siskin.
Woke up bright and early to check first feed, 7 Goldfinches, change for school, look out of the window, 4 Goldfinches (6/7 in a neighbours garden) and 2 Siskins one I suspect was supporting a ring (most likely from Bob's garden, a minute away judging by how the crow flies. Pictures are awful but with a new 300mm lens and 2X teleconvertor in the post for my 18th (this Sunday!) I shall be geared up to take some decent shots.
